  • Longan fruits will normally be packaged in mesh bags. Each bag will have different weights such as 2kg, 5kg and 10 kg. Then packed into hard plastic boxes or carton boxes. 
  • On the packaging there is full information such as: result name, origin, packaging factory, business code, export date.
  • On the shipping carton there should be information related to longan fruits about the growing area code, packaging factory, date and batch number of packaging… all of which can be done in 2 languages – one is Vietnamese, the other is from the importing country.

Requirement of preservation after collecting longans

Longan fruits need to be planned early, then sorted and put into cold storage with a temperature of 5 – 7°C. If this temperature range is met, the longans can be stored  within 30 days.
