  • All planting and care processes meet GAP standards. Processing and packaging of passion fruit to be exported to China must be carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
  • Passion fruit products must be free from pests and meet food safety. The importing country will closely check the amount of pesticide residues and harmful pests on passion fruit.
  • Packages of passion fruit should ensure clean, hygienic, unused standards. On the package, it is required to have a label with full information about the country of origin, planting garden, registration code ..

Legal policy

Passion fruit is a product legally allowed to be exported to foreign markets. However, before preparing customs documents to export passion fruit shipments, firms need to register for plant quarantine.   • During transportation, it is necessary to ensure optimal storage conditions for passion fruit. Passion fruit will be kept in a cooling room with a temperature of 5 to 8 degrees Celsius. This temperature helps preserve passion fruit for about 2 – 5 weeks before exporting to other countries.
  • Passion fruit needs to be packaged in standard cartons. When transporting, it is necessary to arrange the boxes properly to avoid collisions on the journey.
  • It is necessary to maintain appropriate humidity to avoid cartons being soaked in water. The suitable humidity for preserving passion fruit is 50-60%. This humidity will be maintained by cold storage and Ethylene absorbent bags during the export process.
