Post harvested cinnamon at the age of 12 years or above will have the outer shell removed, split to a width of 3cm and dried.
Producing cinnamon stick procedure:
- Choosing best quality cinnamon shells.
- Clean and shave the outer shells.
- Dry naturally under the sunlight.
- Cut into about 12 cm pieces or as required.
- 10 – 12% moisture guaranteed.
- No impurities.
- No SO2 used.
- Store in cool, dry places.
