Export star anise from January to August 2024

Until the end of August, Vietnam has shipped out 9,831 tons of star anise, total turnover reached $47.3 million, decreased 1.7% export quantity and 17.8% turnover compared to the same period last year.

Vietnam’s key markets for export star anise include:

• India: 6,083 tons, up 6.3%
• United States: 694 tons, up 8.4%
• Taiwan: 301 tons, up 168.8%
